thanks for the input on this. staying with the silver trim. got it all wired up and made a box to clean up the back so i don't have to worry about snagging anything. set the thing up so i can just plug it in and go. going to try to get it set in the dash this weekend and get the mounts set up...
these vents are a out of sight out of mind sort of thing. the only time people notice them is when they either tangle with the wiper linkage or fall on the floor. just another little detail thats not high on the prority list. ron
