Anyone used the new 70 style seat frames sold by OER?

Received mine yesterday, it seems to be a pretty decent unit. Hoping it'll fit with only minor modification if any, but will have to wait for sliders before I have a good idea as to how it fits. Will post detailed pics after work, if you guys want.

    Crossover from FABO....

That's kind of exactly my plan - gonna get her on the road first and foremost, then deal with all the intricacies and prettying back up... She's damned clean as far as rust and such goes, so the body job will be way easier than a lot of projects out there... But there's no reason to not enjoy...

    Crossover from FABO....

Oh, most definitely! Hopefully, I can get all the interior parts together before they stop selling them - the rates of these cars being dragged out of rockpiles and restored are starting to swiftly dwindle, with the most of the savable ones already done and the market for these cars starting to...

    Crossover from FABO....

Here I am, back at it once more.... This is the year I start digging in, NO exceptions. My step dad said he'd bring it up soon (it's stored almost 100mi away), but I may have to go get it myself - we'll see how the month shapes up.

Well, as one with a stripped interior, it's kinda my only option. :P

Anyone used the new 70 style seat frames sold by OER?

Bought one... Summit says it should ship May 14th. Will update with the perceived quality once it arrives. :) (of course, I still need buns, covers, and tracks for both sides AND all of that for the rear bench, too, but hey baby steps or whatever...) :D

Were fuel tanks painted in 1970?

Very cool, thanks guys! Still undecided as to whether or not I'll color match it to the car or keep it shiny, but now I got some options. :D Original tank rusted out, dad tossed it way back in the 90's. Just thinking about future-proofing it.

Were fuel tanks painted in 1970?

Finally starting to get into my dad's old '70 Roadrunner, but was wondering if the fuel tanks were painted in 1970, or if they had just the coated steel look? Given that it's going to be a Resto-mod, I'm not necessarily bound by the "rules" of replicating the original configuration, so it may...

Anyone used the new 70 style seat frames sold by OER?

Would you happen to have a link? I need all new interior parts for mine, and I can't seem to find anywhere making repop frames! Plenty of covers and buns, but zero hard parts. :(

    Crossover from FABO....

A bit of an afterword, since I was slightly pressed for time when I posted last... The drip rails are in great shape, a bit of browning in there but nothing serious. The doors are quite clean around where the skin and the frame meet up, but I'll still have to reskin the driver's door because of...

    Crossover from FABO....

Came back home for post-deployment leave, was able to recon the 'bird close-up. Here's some pics and some news!! Love the rear glass shape... I'll hate it when I have to cut it out to fix up the window frame rust and lay paint, but at the moment, I LOVE the rear glass shape!! Who could say...

what color should i paint my 69 road runner ????????

I think there are more orange birds now than there was in the 70's!! My vote would be for B7 blue, but that's because I'm infatuated with the color. I've painted just about everything with a rattle-can of B7 that I got from my local parts store (they can do bomb-can by code!)... But, of the...

    Crossover from FABO....

Ya, when he died we had a hell of a time figuring out what to do with all of his cars; he was an avid Mopar collector; Fury III, Cordoba, Newport, Duster, Imperial, Roadrunner, etc... Most of them disappeared mysteriously, but the 'Bird got saved because it was Dad's pride and joy, and I'll be...

    Crossover from FABO....

Long-time Mopar fan, current resident of FABO, so all you cross-forum guys should know me... Anyways, my mom and step pops just dug out my dad's old '70 Roadrunner project for me to start playing with post-deployment (no, I'm not from Afghanistan, I'm just here to make bad guys dead guys)...
