I talked to the owner, he's planning to 'glass on a cowl induction scoop. :screwy:
I tried to talk him out of it but he already cut a hole in the hood.
...references childish schoolyard insults, ends with a childish schoolyard insult...
I can see why you'd be the type to believe in this stuff.
Have a good weekend everybody. I'm out.
If it was harmless, you wouldn't hear a peep out of me, but people waste an awful lot of money on bullshit like this. Dowsing, mediums, fortune tellers, essential oils... it riles me up.
The fact that this is even a debate is making me lose faith in humanity. This isn't religion or politics...
I have a motorhome pan off a 440, would that work?
I also have a spare 22" radiator out of a 383 auto Challenger. If I used this in the truck, it would match up with the car style water pump housing. Is there any reason why that wouldn't work that you guys can think of?
My 400 & spare Hemi...
Favorites? I want them all!!!
I'm attached to my current collection pretty badly, can't even bring myself to sell the old truck!
W100 & Magnum R/T
'71 R/T
'70 rr
If I needed one more, which I don't, It'd have to be a second gen Charger.
Projects that aren't cars...
Junk parts cheap 484 Hemi build
Aluminum 499 Hemi build, not so cheap
'75 Honda Scrambler, needs rings
'42 Harley army bike, needs rings too
...all this junk in addition to the road runner, Challenger, & maintaining 2 daily drivers... & I already know what...
I tried to figure out if the current 318 was external or internal balance, but info was inconclusive. I'm interested in your parts, but want to be thorough in my research first.
Well that's encouraging to hear, I gotta say this NP435 has about ruined me for driving other 4spds. After driving that gnarly thing all the time, all the other stick shifts just feel numb with no feedback!
Does the clutch need changed too?
I love driving my old truck, its a Short Bed 4x4 with an NP435 4spd but the 318 is worn out & too slow. I have a running 400 I was planning on selling & more Gen 2 Hemi stuff than I care to admit.
How much trouble would it be to swap in the 400 or one of my Hemi's?
Looks like a member here is...
I heard the guy cut the original skid plate & torque boxes off to "save weight" then he threw away the A-pillar chrome because it "looked tacky"!:(
You mentioned choosing between Hooker & TTI. The TTI's are worth every penny.
I tried them both on my own '70 road runner with a megablock-based Hemi and Schumacher mounts. The 2 1/8" TTI's didn't even need any dents to clearance them.
This was at a rural cross roads, there is no designated turn lane. If someone comes up behind you full speed without paying attention they have nowhere to go, its either put it in the ditch or pass illegally. I suspect that could have been the case in the accident last year.
