I have a 1967 Dodge Coronet 440 convertible and I need to replace a trunk lid hinge. How do I relieve the tension on the torque rods that hold the lid open, so I car replace the hinge?
This MUST be off of the 1967. I need the front right brake line. That runs from the proportioning valve across the firewall to the right side bracket. It would need to have a 4 inch rise across the transmission tunnel for approximately 14 inches and drops back down. Think you can help me?
I recently read an article recently about a Holley carb being used an a 1969 383/330hp B body with factory cruise control. Could the Holley R4440 be the carb with factory cruise.?
To smithchargers: Thanks for the reply. I was thinking about that. What number did you have for the Holley carb on the build sheet? Could you by chance send me a few pics of the carb, especially the passenger side and carb number? I'll give you my email address if you would like to do it that...
Thanks for the information. I have the Mopar carb guide and it calls out 2 different carbs for the 383 non a/c. The Carter 4616 and the Holley R4440. And Mopar carb list serms to only show Carter carbs. No Holleys at all.
The car is a 1969 Dodge Coronet 500 convertible. It has an H code 383, 330hp, 4bbl, dual exhaust, non a/c engine. With p/s, p/b, and automatic transmission.
I have a supposedly stock1969 383/330hp engine with a Holley carb. The Mopar listing does call out an R4440 Holley for a '69 838/at car. Also a 4616 Carter AVS. I have to replace the carb. How do I tell which one is correct, Carter or Holley? I can get both. I want to stay stock as the car is a...
I need a front R/H brake line for manual brakes. It runs along the firewall to the right brake. It must be from the '67 and have a 4" rise above the transmission tunnel for approxy14". Any help there?
I am glad the insurance finally settled. Did you buy the car back for parts? Good luck in the search for a new ride. From me and mine we are wishing you and yours a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year..
I would be glad to help out a little. I could not read what was under the 'P' the 'N' or the 'S'. The P & N are body paint color code numbers, and the 1 under the T is for mono tone paint, meaning car is all one color. The S is for stripes.
Here is what I know. It IS a real Dodge Coroner...
I am glad no one was hurt, metal can be fixed. I know I would cry if mine got hit. My Dad bought a new one in 66 and he (we) drove it for 15years before he sold it, never a scratch. Within 2 weeks after he sold it a damn drunk driver ran a stop sign and destroyed it. And messed the driver up...
I need a passenger side front brake line from the 67, that goes from the proportioning valve, across the firewall, with a 4" rise over the transmission and then down to the fitting on the lower bracket next to the brake. Can you help me here?
Larry, I really enjoyed our meeting last Saturday. Looks like you have a pretty good handle on restoring your 67 Belvedere. And are coming along nicely. Thanks again for the parts. I also liked your modification to your shed, great idea. I am going to do that to one side of my barn. I think...
Are you finished with your vert yet? Looks good so far. Have you decided what you are going to do about your front brakes yet? If you are going with disc, what are you planning to do with the drums? I could use a half decent 14" set.
