Hi Guys, I am looking for one or two of the screws that hold the seal to the bottom of the air-grabber box. It has a 5/16 head, 3/4" long, and a roughly 3/4" diameter washer. The head has an AF or F on it. I have not figured out which it is. Does anyone have any extras laying around? PM me...
I started putting some real time into getting things together to get my rear end, front suspension, and other small components together so that it us ready to put on the GTX.
What are you guys using to replace the foam seal that is on the front backing plates for drum brakes? Do you just jam foam in there and trim it out or?
I have been trying to get it confirmed if I am correct on the color, because all I have ever seen that have been restored are silver. Most original ones are rusted pretty badly and you can't really tell.
Guys, I am restoring my original parts for my Air Grabber (70 GTX). Does anyone know what finish is supposed to be on these parts? I have scrubbed down through and found what looks to be like yellow-gold cadmium plating in two of the parts. Is this correct or not?

Unfortunately the one that is bent is not damaged. Both bent ones came off the same sway bar. There are no marks what so ever on them. They are bent perfectly at the bottom flanges. The other two that are straight, came on another sway bar. I looked in the parts book and they list one...
Ok guys, which is the correct strap for a 70 GTX from Lynchroad? I have 2 different styles of straps. As you can see one style is straight and the other lays to the one side.
Ok guys, I have been trying to figure out what my car takes for a steering box date code. 70 GTX. It is a manual steering car. SPD is 930, so it is Sept. 30, 1969. That should have a date code of D####_ . Correct? The box should have been built in ??? April, May, June, July, of 1969...
