Some update photos. H-Pipe from Waldron Exhaust, mufflers from Classic, tail pipes from Accurate, lines from Inline Tube, fuel tank from RockAuto. Planning to roll the differential under the car today and bolt it in. Back on the wheels for the first time in several months.

I'd go to the factory weight; 10W40. The heavier oil puts needless drag on the oil pump, and really isn't necessary in a stock engine.

I was curious, and looked this one up on line. Wow! Just from the photos, you can tell this one is tired. Looks like a quick paint job and not much else. No way that one is worth $30K. Here are a few shots of the blasted housing castings, booster venturis, throttle plates, and new screws. I bought the screw kit from Daytona Parts Co. for $23.00 including shipping. It included all the screws needed; a very complete kit.

Thanks! I've rebuilt this carb many times over the years; always with good results. I think it's because it is the original carb to the car, and is in unmolested condition. I just decided to make it look as good as it functions. JD
