1964 Dodge price guide now posted in Hamtramck Historical library.

Very Cool!!!! Thanks a lot for posting this. I didn't know that my [base] 64 Polara convertible cost more than then any of the hardtop Polara models. And I also didn't know that it was offered in grey paint. I don't think I've ever seen a Polara in grey.

    Convertible quarter panel question

I have those same braces on my '64 Polara convertible, but I've not had to touch them during the restoration of the car. I believe that they were spot welded to the quarter at the factory and I have the same type of undercoat over mine that you show in your pics. My guess is that any type of...

    New Upholstery arrived this week.....

Looking great! there Doug. I've never seen that interior before but then again I don't see too many Canadian Polara convertibles either. And congrats on owning your car for 60 years!!

    New Upholstery arrived this week.....

I sent them my original covers, but as I mentioned they were in pretty bad condition. I didn't receive any discounts from them.

    New Upholstery arrived this week.....

Sam - My OEM interior was pretty much toast so there's no comparison between the new SMS material and what I sent them. Maybe someone on the site here with an OEM interior still in their car can best respond to you. My car was originally a California car and the sun cooked the interior and the...

    New Upholstery arrived this week.....

Believe me, I tried to use Legendary for the very reasons you mentioned. My Polara isn't the 500 model though, and that's the only interior they reproduce. SMS was the only place in country I could find that does the correct base model Polara convertible upholstery & door panels.

    New Upholstery arrived this week.....

If one of the Mods would correct the rotation of the pics I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

    New Upholstery arrived this week.....

Thought I'd post these pics as a way to offer some small ray of hope to anybody else waiting on interior items from SMS out in Oregon. The new upholstery arrived this past Wednesday from SMS for my 64 Dodge Polara convertible [H4R interior code]. I think they did a really nice job but I'm still...

WTB WTB: OEM 1970 Holley 2300 Center Carb Bowl Vent Rod

It's a chilly/rainy day here today in Maryland so I was able to spend some time in the garage. The part from Allstate I believe is going to work but I'll need to put some run time on it to be sure. The length of the lower horizontal part of the rod that contacts the carb arm is about 1 inch...

WTB WTB: OEM 1970 Holley 2300 Center Carb Bowl Vent Rod

Hi FastMark, and thanks for chiming in to the thread. VERY interesting info. and photo that you shared....thanks! I assumed that the OEM vent rods were never as bright as today's replacements, but I would not have guessed they were dull black in color. I'll report back on how the Allstate rod...

WTB WTB: OEM 1970 Holley 2300 Center Carb Bowl Vent Rod

The folks at Allstate emailed me back and said that the $14.00 rod in the listing that Dave posted here is correct for my application [non emissions center carb]. So I placed an order with them this afternoon and we'll see if it works when it gets here. :)

WTB WTB: OEM 1970 Holley 2300 Center Carb Bowl Vent Rod

I contacted Allstate this morning via their website contact page and inquired about them carrying the longer version of the OEM Holley vent rod. I couldn't attach any photos on their contact page but I offered to send them some via email if they request it. Hard to tell for sure from Dave69's...

WTB WTB: OEM 1970 Holley 2300 Center Carb Bowl Vent Rod

Thanks for the additional vendor suggestion Velocity, but I'm going to see if Chicago Carb. come through. They replied back to email I sent them and said on Wednesday that they would have the longer vent rod available 10 - 21 days from now. I'm assuming that somebody is making these rods for...

WTB WTB: OEM 1970 Holley 2300 Center Carb Bowl Vent Rod

I've bought parts from them in the past and I did contact them about 2 years ago after realizing that finding one of these rods 'loose' at Carlisle just wasn't happening. They couldn't help me 2 years ago but I just sent them an email this evening since maybe something has changed on their end...

WTB WTB: OEM 1970 Holley 2300 Center Carb Bowl Vent Rod

I’m looking for the longer of the 2 bowl vent rods that Holley briefly used on their 2300 series center carb. My one pic shows the shorter [more common] version of this rod above a fabricated longer version of the rod which my 440 six pack application requires. I saw several of these longer bowl...

64 Polara Front Bench reassembly question

Congratulations on getting your interior back! My seat covers and door panels have been at SMS for about the same length of time. Hopefully I'll hear from them soon with the same good news you received. :)

64 Polara Front Bench reassembly question

Hi.... I have a 64 Polara convertible, and I just looked through the disassembly pics I took of my front bench seat [non power, split bench with the armrest]. I didn't see anything in my pics that looked like your photo, but the hole diameter in your pic looks very close to the size of the...

    Seat belts

My 64 Polara convertible did not come from the factory with rear seat belts. I've got the car apart and there's no mounting holes in the floor pan for the rear seat belts either.

WTB 1964 Polara Convertible rear interior side panels

JFK3 - Those convertible rear side panels for our '64 cars are [nicely] reproduced and sold by ABC Moparts. Have a look at them here.... 1964-65 B Body Convertible Side Panels-Black Not sure if they would sell you only one side. I purchased a pair of their red ones a few years ago and then...
