Kicked a Carillo rod. I'm attributing it to dirty assembly. It was assembled, dyno'd, and shipped, without my presence. Good oil pressure and ran fine, but kept getting debris in the filter cartridge. It was gone after 3 oil changes [in 10 passes]...but it would seem the damage was already done...
Loaded Krusty up for Sunday T&T at Milan. Should be some killer air. maybe that and some better fuel will knock a little off the et. We're pretty much up against a wall, till I get a new converter. Then, start over with the suspension and such.... Next spring.
I have too large of bars on my `cuda 1.03. 2" dropped spindles and a BIG swaybar. Bilstein shocks. It rides like it has no front suspension. The rear is the opposite. Junk Hotchkiss springs, that wrap under acceleration....and screwup the pinion angle a bunch. This winter, the car is getting SB...
