I have an issue when starting my 71 charger. I converted to the electronic ignition with the conversion kit sold by Yearone. (years ago). The issue I have is when I attempt to start, it starts mostly when I release the key. Any ideas why this is happening? I'm thinking possibly ballast...
Have been going to this event for many years, and yet to find any mopar parts. You mopar guys need to bring your mopar stuff here. The layout is quite large.
I had a similar problem, and found that I had too much pressure in gas tank. It wasn't properly vented. I bought a vented gas cap and it solved my problem. Just a suggestion. Good luck.
