FOR SALE 2 different sets of disc brake spindles....

I have a '68 Coronet that I was looking to upgrade the front discs to Wilwoods. The first ones I bought didn't work with the Wilwood caliper, but I finally found a set that did. So one of these sets is the original stock disc spindles (first 4 photos), and the other are supposedly B body...

    '68 Coronet Sending Unit Question...

I have a '68 Coronet 440. I'm planning on converting the fuel port to the top rear qtr panel, a la the '68 Charger. I'm getting the whole setup - tank, sending unit, straps, pad, filler tube, etc. So do I need the sending unit with a 5/16" line or 3/8" line? I've been reading that the 440...

EEC - Electronic Evaporative Control Gas Tank?

I've got a '68 Coronet, of which I'm planning to change the gas tank to a '68 Charger tank, with the filler tube running out the side of the tank to the top of the rear quarter. My question is this: I'm assuming I don't need a tank with EEC, since I believe that didn't originate until 1970 or...

Racing Seats That Won't Break The Bank, but Won't BREAK?

Looking for some seats for my '68 Coronet. Something with decent side bolsters, 4-pt harness, and reclinable. I like the Corbeaus, and Recaros, but they're a bit pricey. And the knock-off JDM ones on ebay look like they might break quickly. Any recommendations? I did find these? They're $635...

ATTN all '68 Coronet (and similar) owners.........Need reference photos....

I'm putting my '68 Coronet back together and could use some reference pics of a few areas. 1. Photos of the roof rail trim and weatherstripping that tucks inside it. Is adhesive necessary for the weatherstripping? It seems to tuck in pretty securely. 2. The adjacent headliner trim. Not sure...

    Help with headliner trim......

I'm unsure of how the left and right side headliner trim is supposed to fasten to the roof edge. The trim piece has many of these sliding clips, or whatever, but what do they fasten to?

Just another naked Coronet, gittin ready fer paint....

Been working on this for about a year, on and off, in between cancer treatment, kids' events, attention to my girlfriend (very important), etc.... I've got her mostly stripped down and ready for some primer. It's a 440 with a 440ci, 727, and a pedestrian 2.76 peg-leg rear. Next order of...

    Can't get shackles/leaf springs removed - HELP!!

I'm trying to replace my leaf springs and shackles on my '68 Coronet. Seems easy enough on paper. I was able to remove the 4 bolts on the front bracket, and the 2 nuts on the shackle. Problem is I can't get the bushing off of the top bolt of the shackle, in order to slide it out of the frame...

    Question regarding painting/sanding, with PICS..............

I recently bought a '68 Coronet 440 that needs a paint job. Currently it is a matte white. I'm not sure if it's some kind of primer or what, but it's not good. Anyway, I sanded through the layers just to see what I'm dealing with (see attached pic). The car used to be purple, so it looks like...
