What to do with 73 Plymouth Satellite Custom 400ci

Welcome from Wisco! I found some dog dishes to put on the factory steelies on my 72 4-door. Helped with looks a lot! Next I’m putting on 15” steelies to get it up more.

I’ve always been curious about that business. What was a typical route? Mostly north? Did they use Mopars?

    Hemi Orange or Sassy Grass?

Go Sassygrass. That is the best green ever. Also, your car could then be used in your local St. Patrick's Day parade even if it's not a ragtop.

    Swapping rear gears

If you ever drive in the states, on the interstates, most cars are going 75 to 80 mph. The 2:71 gears I have are nice at 80 mph.

Keep it stock. The 2:71 gears are really nice on the highway. I have a black '72, but with 122K miles. It would be nice to come across a 400/727 and install it but then you'd have to put in a 8 3/4 rear and the cost would not be recouped.

    heater control cable 72 sat

The part# I posted should be the correct cable with AC. Using the number preceded by Mopar, I get some NOS parts that are cheaper than repops.

This black Charger is a hot box! What can I do?

When you have the heat control all the way to the left (shut off), do you still feel some warm air coming out of the vents? If so, put a water shut-off valve on your heater hose.

    heater control cable 72 sat

The Mopar part# for that application is 3431459, so you can do some google searches with that. The repros out there are not an exact copy of the original cable but come close. Length needed is around 71”. The water control valve is really hard to move on mine. I think if I just put on a new...

I could use that buddy seat ... if it was gold. That '72 Satty must be a Custom because it has all those options.

I'm new! I don't know what to do!

A belated welcome to you Yella Stella. I too have a coke-bottle 4-dr B-body, a '72, helping it "dodge" the crusher. Best looking 4-drs B-bodies ever I believe. My steering is also way sloppy, but I'm just gonna live with it. In the pic, mine is the black one on the left:
