It's Heavy, now let's see how quick this big tub of fun is.

Well this chapter for me is done. Sold the Wagon to my cousin last week on Friday, we went out to the drags and he drove it to the third round before being eliminated. Loaded it up in the trailer and off it goes. Going to take some time off the car hobby thing... maybe I will be back maybe...

    UPGRADE 1962 PLYMOUTH FURY

440 without a doubt. Poly motors are a dinosaur.. they are getting some attention lately but the cost and availability of them is the problem... even if you hop it up it still wont run anywhere near a 440 with equal $$ invested. You will need a big block trans too. Not a big deal.

I like the Wilwoods on the wagon. 4120 lbs and stops great.. even from the 111mph 1/4 mile blasts.

HOOSIER PRO-STREET OR MT SPORTMAN S/R

I would run a set of Hoosier quick time pros ot mt et street's.. and get another set of tires to just cruise it around on or go on longer trips with... when you want real traction your going to want a real drag tire...

My 66 Satellite street car project

Do they have a DOT stamp??? If so run them. I had Hoosiet Quick Time Pro's on my wagon.. even went to DMV with it to verify VIN# and didnt have any issues... i would run a real tite especially if I already owned it.

    Engine Build Question

A couple years ago... there was a member over on Moparts, AndyF who did alot of dyno testing and found that the .528 cam made more hp/tq than any of the "modern" offerings with stock manifolds... i think it was in the neighborhood of 550 hp... if you do a few searches i bet it pops up...

    Engine Build Question

Ha. Right on. Disregard.. you can make your own stall speed then... haha. The bigger cams will like more gear too but 3.55 isnt too bad...

    Engine Build Question

727, im guessing you are running an automatic based on your screen name... What stall speed converter are you running... or willing to run? If you are set on a stock converter run the .455 cam. If you are willing to get something that stalls about 3000 it opens up your options. The bigger...

Steelies paint to match or black?

I voted for Black. But i prefer the nostalgia race look with black steelies in the back and a period correct mag wheel up front.
