Thanks for the feedback! Your engine compartment looks like new. I may have to have my engine pulled to make mine look close to yours. I have a Silver Special Coupe with 17K miles. Needs some TLC to bring it up to my standards.
This all started when I recently saw a Belv2/273 being auctioned in...
I bought a 2661580 and I think it should do the trick. Keep you posted. Also have a trunk light kit and a courtesy/map light kit inbound. That'll give me 3/4 of a "355 Light Package" and a warm fuzzy.
Will a 2661580 (Fits '66 Belvs) work on my car? The 2291781 is the 67 version and appears to be part of the 2661580 ensemble. The glove box liners are identical. Any thoughts? Thanks!
I'm hoping Part 2661580 will work for my car. The instructions say it's for certain '63-'66 cars. The glove box liner for a '66 is identical to mine and Part 2291781 for a '67 appears to be part of the 2661580 kit. Any thoughts? Thanks!
I've retrieved from "Moparts" a one-page Plymouth bulletin dated 4/25/67 about two Silver Special Packages that were advertised as "Belvedere Bonus Specials". Please let me know if you would like a copy.
Yes, to the best of my knowledge. The "H4A" trim included the silver paint, special interior, matching vinyl top, wheel moldings and drip moldings. I believe the paint, interior and top could be ordered separately.
My coupe is an "H4A" car and it is very hard to conceive that Plymouth did not...
I would love to have some of this material. I have not been able to find any (Maybe none ever existed - What a shame). Your help is appreciated. Thank You!!!
Final Touches:
1. Arrow indicator re-lamped - A-OK
2. The cylindrical thermal flasher snugs well into the original holding bracket.
3. Cleaned "Flasher" switch - A-OK
May all your troubles be this simple!
