    1979 Chrysler 300 Registry

I think that the wheels, and the 3 per side fender openings behind the front wheels, are also not factory.

Northern Canada is burning. It’s bad.

In Alberta, 5 people (so far) have been arrested for starting forest fires. 4 were in a group that wanted to push the climate change agenda. The other was the lady described previously. Undoubtedly, some of the fires are from lightning, some are from recreational users of the forested areas not...

WIW, 1978 Cordoba 400 auto T top car

From the pcitures on the linked ad, it looks like the front end is a little low. I wonder if the car has been lowered, or the torsion bars are sagging? If its been lowered, that is probably an easy fix; if the tormsion bars are sagging, they will need replacement.

The previous owner really liked his tape stripes, huh?

    Paint Opinion

Your car, you do what you want with it. You did ask for an opinion, so I don't like satin, unless you are going for a rat rod look. If you want it black, do it in gloss. As an alternative, what was the factory colour the car came in? Is it a colour you like?

Love the new paint job, really works well with the lines of the car. Great that you got the EL illumination for the gauges working, too.

Looks like the engine is going to need some cleaning up, and a few parts. At least its a big block.

Any gen 3 hemi swapped cordobas out there ?

There have been some magazine articles on Gen 3 Magnums (effectively the same car, with different sheet metal). It didn't sound like an easy swap.

I might piss a few people off but...

If the person who bought it was a real Mopar lover, first thing to do would be to find the original factory paint code, and then repaint the car in that colour with the best painter he can find. Hopefully, the buyer was knowledgeable enough not to fall for the sales pitch (blatant lies about the...

    Final video of Cordoba resto

My dad's 1975 Monte Carlo had the polycast wheels as well. They were a different pattern. Late 1970s Thunderbirds had full plastic wheels (I don't know if plastic is the correct material name, it was non-metal, anyway).

    Personal Favourite '74-79 Mopars

I love the '78-79 Magnums, especially GTs with either the two tone black & silver or blue & sliver paint schemes. If a '78, with the 400 as well, if they exist (I'm not sure if they did or not) . Big fan of the '79 300. There's one in this area, but the owner has let it go, and did some dumb...

    1979 Chrysler 300 Registry

I am no expert on 1979 300s, so I couldn't tell the difference between an appearance package only, or one that had all of the hi-perf goodies, so couldn't say either way. I can say that the car did have a red leather interior (driver's side seat would best be described as shredded, passenger...

    1979 Chrysler 300 Registry

There used to be a white 300 in my neighborhood. It wasn't in great shape; tront bumper was crooked, the owner had put a small hood scoop on, a small variety of rust spots in the usual areas (top of the fender wells, rear corners of the doors). Spoke to him when he saw me driving my 1981 Mirada...
