Made a few short road trips with the Road Runner. First one ended with something stuck in the idle circuit of the carburetor. That required me taking the carburetor apart and practically rebuilding it. Second trip little further and the dash brake light came on. Brakes seem fine still...

I color sanded, a 1966 GTO with original paint, GM‘s use lacquer and it cracks. I use an electronic paint thickness tool to help me gauge how much I was sanding off I only used 2000 then 2500 grit paper. But that electronic paint thickness gauge kept me from burning through.
