Here's another one. That one is a real road runner.
Both have been up for a month.
Priced too high?
Want to buy driver quality bbody. Want a solid car, the "drive now restore later" type deal. Does not need to be show quality. I don't mind doing some mechanical work to get it running (rebuild carb, etc). Just don't want some complete basketcase project that's ripped apart.

The car is located in Muskego, WI (near Milwaukee). He's just posting it on various CL's to increase the market for it.
I have his number if anyone wants it.
I have no affiliation, I looked at the car and don't want it, but I'm happy to help anyone out who's interested in it to get in contact...
I don't actually own anything yet, but there is a car near me, getting into my price range because it hasn't sold yet and has been for sale for awhile. It's a N96 car, 383/auto, rallye red. I'd like to clone it into something like a 440 sixpack/4 speed with an impact color paint, but it's a post...

Should I be waiting to find a hardtop car, or is it worth converting a post car to a hardtop during the restoration process? This would be a non numbers matching car, I would never hack up something that was...
Is it possible for a title to be issued for this car? How does that work?
And just to confirm, it's the rolling shell 1969 RR, 383 and 4 speed all for $1,650?
Does it have a fender tag?

(not mine)
It doesn't fit all of the things you want, but it is an original six pack car in plum crazy paint. You'd need to have someone restore it though if you don't want to do it.
Just figured I'd point it out. Seems pretty pricey though.
Thanks for all the input guys. Maybe we can close this thread down. I'm sure I'll have more questions the next time something pops up on CL, however I think I have a really good idea on what I should be looking for. Now it's just a matter of waiting until the right thing comes up and pulling the...
