What do you mean by "log" manifolds, the block is stamped with a 65/66 date 11/29/66 I think. And it also has a Maltese cross, the person I bought it from had the tranny that went with the engine. But I don't know why he said it was a magnum.

I recently bought a 383 that came out of a 66 charger, I was told it is a 383 magnum. How can I tell if it is truly a 383 magnum? And what makes it a magnum engine. ?
