Just wondering if there is an upgrade for the dash guage bulbs on a 70 Roadrunner? The stock bulbs are quite dim and yellow. Is there such thing as an LED bulb, or an Xenon bulb for this application and if so, is it just a simple plug in and go, or would you have to change wiring or relays...
Hi guys, Im running a 71 c body 440(non HP) with a 6pck in a 70 RR. Ive heard it is recommended to put a fuel/vapour seperator on to prevent vapour lock on all 440's and hemi's. Just bought the car and havent driven it much, but it does seem to work fine as is so far without the vapour...
I recently purchased a 70 RR. It is an "N" code 383 car. It now has a 440-6 pack in it. The story goes(unconfirmed) that the person who bought this car new, asked the dealer to put the six pack engine in it before he took it home. Im just curious if the dealer would have taken the 440 out of...
Checked ALL wiring, on both the dimmer switch, and also the headlight switch on the dash. All the wiring looks good. The dash switch is getting very hot! So hot u can hardly touch it. If you keep it on dim, it doesn't heat up. Only on high beam. I unplugged the wiring harness from the back of...
I have the ground going straight to the battery now, and still the same problem. The high beams come on and stay on for about a minute or two, and then start flickering on and off, so I'm leaning towards a circuit breaker maybe? any idea if there is one on this car and if so, where is it located?
Headlghts flicker on and off on high beam only. Switch to low beam and they work fine. Ive cleaned the wiring harness mounted on the firewall, seemed a bit better for a while, but still doing it. Headlight switch on dash feels warm, not sure if that is normal?
