I put in 3 from Classic Industries. Each lasted about 9 months. Got one from Got one from [email protected]. That was 2016 and it's still working perfect.
Lots of pictures. Nice car but will take a lot of work to get bit up to show quality. When was the motor rebuilt? Is this going to be an auction that ends Sat or best offer by Sat.?
If there is no heater available couldn't he remove the belt run the motor for very short periods. If it will start. From now on put antifreeze in it. Year around. Even 20% will help until it gets really cold. AF $ vs block $.
I used to use Simple Green but it would discolor aluminum. Went to Simple Green Pro, the purple stuff. Works good at about 7 to 1 and doesn't discolor aluminum.
I agree with you but at least it starts out as real. 75 per cent asian metal, different motor, different trans. Real can be an illusion but it started as real. Not hanging a vin tag on something that never was.
Selling a title without a car has to be illegal somewhere. Just wonder where the car is and does the owner know there is another title to his car floating around. If selling a title is legal the next step will be using a fake title to take peoples cars. That is a legal document and at the...
Went thru 3 Classic industries ts switches in 2 years. They warranted them but I still had to keep installing them. Got one from http://www.danielsternlighting.com and it's been in there for over 6 years. And it gets driven like 1500 miles a year.
Any of my vehicles that will sit more than a couple weeks get non ethanol. That includes a16 Explorer, F150, 11 Ranger and 69 GTX. The 02 Ranger will get a mix but preferably non ethanol. It has 238000 miles and is still on the original fuel pump. My opinion is one of the fuel pump issues is...
Bought 2 or 3 TS switches from Classic Industries. None lasted a year. Someone here suggested [email protected]. Put that one in in 2016 and it is still working fine.
Won't use CI either. Went thru 2 turn signal switches in one summer from them. Bought one from [email protected] and it's been in there for 3 years and works perfect. You could even tell it was much better quality by the feel. The CI headlight sw hasn't worked right since putting it in...
It doesn't have a fan clutch. Belt is tight. Idling and using a digital gun at he radiator and the thermostat housing it will get up to 220+. Both hoses have springs in them. Only time it's an issue is in 90+ weather and cruising 15-20 minutes at 25-30 mph. Don't know anything about the...
It is a 440. I believe it to be stock. The radiator was cleaned while it was at Fastline. It will overheat idling but it takes awhile. I have watched the temp with a heat gun. The motor runs strong so I don't think it's due for a rebuild. I do know that the thermostat needs to be replaced...
