I just came from a Specialty shop and was quoted $2300.00 for this job. Does that sound about right? I'd love to find another shop that does this kind of work and get another quote for comparison. Problem is, there isn't one around here.
The rear cross member in my 1969 Satellite is rusted badly. I have purchased a replacement from (gulp) AMD. I do not have the ability (I am disabled) nor the knowledge to do this job. Based on past use of AMD parts, I hope that this will not result in a nightmare. My question is this, is there...
Did you use a putty knife, or is there a specialty putty knife? Sorry if that sounds stupid, but, I had to ask. Thank you for the link. Your work is quite impressive Moparnation74.
Hello Everyone,
I am trying to install these seals (VS-7E) for my 1969 Sport Satellite. I have tried Youtube, and wasn't able to find anything there. Can anyone help?
Many Thanks in advance.
I have a 69 Sport Satellite as well. She was born that way and will stay that way. We will be moving from MA to TN as soon as we sell our house and buy one in the Clarksville TN area. I will also be following your restoration.
pnypwr, Those are the ones that I am looking for (1969 B-body running lights that are mounted in the front bumper). If you have them, what would you want for them?
Hello 727. I appreciate your reply and hope that you have what I need. Sorry to say that I do not have a photo of them. Mine were lost by the body shop, when I put the car in for the body work. I hope that someone here might have a photo, that they could share. I want to thank you again, Jack
Looking for the front running/ Turn signal lights for my 69 Satellite Sport. I have brand new lenses, I need the light fixtures themselves.
Thanks in advance.
