    So according to the web, the vin decodes as follows.. first digit is engine, second digit is model, third digit is year, fourth is plant, last six are sequence numbers. So this means my car is a 6 cylinder,440,1963,built in Windsor, Ontario. Seems odd doesn't it to be a "440" when it has "330"...

    Ha. No it was a former 6 cylinder car from Manitoba. Installed the 440, 8 3/4 rearend and different gas tank. patched some rust. bucket seats and a shifter. that's all so far.
