    Thanks for the reply. The transmission has pk2892090 with a possible I or L but this number is on the drivers side. My question is, will any numbers on the transmission show a definite connection to my car, possibly be part of the VIN?

I have a 1969 Road Runner, originally bought the car in 1974, had a small crash and my dad made me sell it, since I still lived at home and was 16, I had no choice.
