71 Super Bee hoods are worth more than a standard bulge hood. If you were close to Texas we could work a trade. I have a later hood on my 71 and have searched high and low for a Super Bee or R/T hood.

Pretty sure the bolt pattern is different and possibly the offset. Not to mention a 17" wheel would look the a 14" on a new Challenger.

Thanks! They are Year One Cast Rallye wheels. 17x8 fronts with Nitto 255/50/17 and 17x9 rears with Nitto 275/50/17.

Well I am currently in Fort Worth myself. We have our Fort Worth house sold (closes Aug 5) and we are moving to Amarillo. My wife and I grew up there and that is where we keep our Mopars (at my parents shop). Anyway, you don't see many 71's around DFW.

Going to look at a 67 Satellite and 67 Coronet R/T tomorrow. Not real sure on the pre-69 option tags and where to check for numbers. The Satellite is painted a red color and tag shows QQ1? I don't see a vin sequence on the fender tag? Is there a way to verify if the tag belongs to that car?

What are you all using for throttle cables on your big blocks? Whatever was installed on my 71 lasted 250 miles. The cable they used had the wired braided insulation but somehow the inner cable broke about 1 inch inside the fire wall? Anyone know what brand this throttle cable might be?
