Also, i forgot to ask, any suggestions where i might purchase an air filter for the chrome dome at a reasonable price :-) i've seen them for about $100, but i'm wondering it there's another filter that might fit, ie filter for another car. hope that makes sense.
i did a search, but did not really find anything definitive on this subject. I have a stock 426 Hemi with less than 2000 miles on a rebuild and wondering what flavor oil i should use. Thanks in advance.
hmmm.....it really looks like i maybe able to increase my backspacing, see attached. i do think that '66 has less room than the 67's. i will need to take the wheel off and measure from the front of the drum faceplate up to the leaf springs and interior wheel well.
folks, anyone know what the backspacing is for this model or an accurate way on how to measure it. i had previously gleaned 4.5" from the forum in the past, but need to verify. my ET Street R tires sized P255/60-15 fit on one side but not the other, so i'm considering if i can get wheels with...
i just took a couple of quick pics, look like there's at least an inch space to the leaf springs. i'll have to get a better look tomorrow during the day.
