I get the feeling these sway bar isolator bushings were made for aftermarket strut rods? The stock rods have a lip at the threaded end that the inner diameter of the rubber bushing must somehow get past, in order to slide it down where it belongs.
And I assume it's probably not a good idea to...
Ahh...they attach there. It seems I may have been sold a pre-73 sway bar.
Do you know if there are aftermarket sway bars that actually fit 73 / 74?
edit** looks like ADDCO sent me the wrong sway bar after 3 months of backorder waiting.

So say if the rears are 295/50-15 with 10" rim, I'm wondering what the correct backspace would need to be, in order to get the tire right up next to the fender without hitting (like in the picture)?
Re: tires & wheels...this is the exact look I'm trying to achieve on the front and rear of my Satellite...in terms of: tire size, aspect ratio, rim width, rim offset, etc...on both the rear and the front. Can anyone help identify these specifics, (or at least take a good guess) from this...
Incidentally, I've been reading about using Q-jet carbs on mopars....apparently they actually came with them from the factory for a while when Carter went bankrupt. I bought a used Edelbrock Performer spread bore, dual plane manifold, along with a rebuilt mopar Quadrajet. I like the idea of...
