Sheet metal done and starting to get some colour finally

Got some sheet metal work done and able to undercoat most of car. She was bigger then a 8’ box needed one more bottle of undercoating

That’s okay doing body work now not much for pics to post, slow progress. I’m not much of a body man yet lol.

Got it blasted and primed. Found couple more spots to repair nothing major

She’s all stripped waiting for weather to blast body. Have been cabinet blasting smaller parts. Lots of ordering right now. Lots of pics for reassembling not much of overall progress, have start doing that. Boy not easy building car in Canada, everything State side and dollar exchange sucks...

Got her rolled over

Been couple years almost, built a shop in that time, started on her again. Got frame checked and straightened. Getting it ready to go on rotisserie hopefully tomorrow!!

Yeah better then expected. Get it blasted and see where the holes come out. Not sure when now, back at work. Was hoping for some more time to work on it.

Yeah looking at an exhaust system from Magna flow made for up to 74 b bodies. Not sure if anyone has experience with that system.

Wondering if anyone knows how the dual exhaust was run at the fuel tank. I thought it was tucked between fuel tank and end rails on both sides. Mine seems to be only seems to have opening on passenger side but fender tag saying have originally dual exhaust with chrome tips, possible have larger...

Got a little more done, motor ready to come out. Rear bumper off and found some rust repairs to do.

Yeah was wondering how it would ride, want more of cruiser. Have to see what to do when get to that stage. Funny about bumper shell was thinking of do that

Awesome build your doing. I like your bumpers got me thinking instead of rechroming make some light fibreglass. Have to get mine in air to see what you did on your rear suspension. Those stock springs just relocated?

Looking at your top pic, did you add support support from firewall to frame?

Thanks! Lots of sourcing out parts, big price differences from local venders have to check everything, crazy can get 50% differences. Online really have to watch shipping costs. Where you at in BC?

Planning as a cruiser for now. Going to update engine, intake, carb or fuel injection, distributor. Has 400/727, 9 1/4 with I believe 3.23

Yeah got to look at rear suspension, RH spring pushed up into trunk, looks weak to me. Either strengthen or go with a link set up. Sister figures from back road jumping in the 80s
