    An inconvenient truth

From US Measured Temperature Data-set 1895 to Present Not much of a trend, the 1930s were much hotter on average. Across the US we have less days over 90 degrees ...and less days below 20 It seems the US has less extreme temperatures on average. Sea Ice Volume and total extent might be...

New Project Car - '66 Belvedere

For sure! Just let me know. I bought an '88 Conquest last week, so now I have my time split between 3 projects :p I'm debating swapping the 5.7 hemi into the Belvedere instead of the GTX and then building a stout big block for the GTX.

I had Ordered some replacement headlights without looking closely enough....wrong size. As it turns out every Site that I can find has the wrong size listed when you look it up by 1966 Belvedere...that'll teach me I guess. Anyways re-ordered hopefully the correct size lights that take H4 bulbs...

New Project Car - '66 Belvedere

Yeah I was looking at that...I made some cardboard cutouts to simulate the new tires...it's going to be very close. I have the same type of tire on the GTX and they are slightly narrower overall than the online spec suggested....so I'm hoping that's the case with these as well. Should know...

New Project Car - '66 Belvedere

haha yeah the engine compartment needs some serious help...as does most of the car. The car was Zierbart undercoated way back when...what a mess that crap is now, i think eventually it made the car rust worse underneath as it started to peal and the moisture was trapped against the metal. Also...

The "O" is there it's just lost most of the chrome on the inlay of the letter. I do need Plymouth symbol emblem for the passenger side rear quarter that goes on the circle medallion.

New Project Car - '66 Belvedere

Thanks for the info, I have no reason to believe yet that the engine was swapped, was just a question in my mind if someone swapped in a LA 318 in there at some point in it's life. Needs a Gas tank, carb rebuild, normal tune up stuff for a car that's been sitting a long time, probably convert it...

New Project Car - '66 Belvedere

Hello all, acquired this new project about a week ago. Hasn't been on the road in 25+ years(tires are very old) so it needs many things to get it back road worthy again. The pictures probably make it look better than it is, I'm told the re-paint and body work was done in the late 80s or early...

6.4 Gen III Hemi on a factory 8.75 rear end

I'm pushing 500+ WHP, 575+ Wheel Torque in my Dart with stock 4 Speed, 8 3/4, and axles....never had an issue. That's not to say I'm not pushing things a bit too far. The 8 3/4 3rd member cases are a little different, the 741 is a little weaker(smaller pinion stem) than the 742 or 489.
