    I believe all that stuff was just plain ol’ bare steel. Springs were dipped in black.

    I think the factory range is 10-73 ohms so yours is pretty close I’d say.

    The 68, if original, has a different style water pump housing, The brackets are all completely different than the 69 and later style. So you might end up with alignment issues trying to install 69 pulleys on a 68.

    Yes they are all interchangeable between the 361, 383, 400, 426 and 440.

    I think the 4 groove crank pulley will physically contact any of the standard non-ac water pump pulleys. Best bet is to do as suggested above and get a whole new setup that will line up and not interfere with each other.
