great looking car! I picked up a 74 Roadrunner GTX in late Feb. it needs some work. Any hints from you for best places to pick up items for this make and year would be greatly appreciated. CC.
My lights all work. Based on your explanation, what I most likely need is an engine/ starting harness. Lots of odd taping and battered wiring. Thanks for your help and your input shows what a great forum this is.
I appreciate the reply. I'm troubled by the fact that YEAR ONE carries 71 and 72 wiring harness, a positive cable package, but they don't carry the same for the 73 and 74.
Thanks for the explanation about the differences between 71/72 body lines vs. 73/74 lines. A very big help! Next question then is would the 72 engine wiring harness work on the 73? I picked up a 73 U code roadrunner and it needs some work. Most urgently the wiring. thanks all. great forum.
beautiful car! Post interior pics if you can. Back in 1974 I ordered a Satellite Sebring Plus with the 400 4bbl, 4 speed (no console) and the rallye dash with tach. dual exhaust with the machine gun tips. Never should have sold that car! It was silver.
this car is freaking gorgeous! I had a 74 SSP with the 4 speed (no console) 400 cid and the rallye gauge pack (150 speedo and tach). Purchased it new in 74. Like a dim wit I got rid of it around 1979. You've got a keeper there.
