I replaced the driver side strut rod. I bought the complete control arms, strut rods, k-frame kit from Cap before they sold out to QA1. The original strut rods from Cap had threaded aluminum ends where they attached to the lower control arm. They eventually got boogered up and bent. I bought a...
I found a few burnt spark plug boots so I installed a new set of wires. The straight boots made a few plugs a bit difficult, especially #3. But, not a lot of selection for HEI-style wires for Mopar big blocks.
Windshield washer motor wire is brown with no tracer but, if I recall correctly, should be driver side. Front end lighting wires are black, red, and violet with a tracer. Right fender top turn signal indicator is black with tan tracer, left fender indicator is black with a light green tracer...

Since no one seems to know, I went ahead and blasted and clearcoated the bracket, linkage, and throttle rod from the '77 400. I may still change my mind and switch to the '71 rod only because it adjusts up top instead of underneath.
I had my Thermoquad restored as I've never been happy with my Edelbrock. I cleaned up, blasted, and clearcoated an Edelbrock Performer I had in my garage attic. I'm about ready to switch the manifolds and carbs. While I'm at it, I would like to reinstall a factory linkage to the throttle arm on...
Steamy day. Felt so good to get home in the A/C. Charger's paint is 3 years old and still has a deep reflective shine. Just wish my A/C hadn't died on the way up on Friday.
Found the annoying clunk in our beater Caliber. Both sway bar end links were shot. Apparently, 15 years of daily use in all weather conditions was a bit too much to ask. Just the lower end of each was like this. The upper ends were still fine.
