Thanks to all who answered, I changed the torsion bars... but used the k frame from the 318....and used the motor mount swap for the job. so I think idrivemopar is correct. The corner pieces aren't on the 318 k-frame. Is this something that i can mod? Or buy as an add-on..? I'm going to check...
i got an OEM front sway bar for this car.... it didn't have one on it before the restoration started....
but i swapped the 318 out for a BB 400... and the sway bar i got just doesnt seem to connect.. even though the seller swears it came off of a '73 B body.

getting close to having my '73 RR clone finished..
but i am concerned about the worn out looking rubber isolators attached to k frame.
its hard to find much info at all on replacement options.. or even what the heck to search for...
seems that firm feel company offers aluminum sub...

I've been searching craigslist in like a 300 mile radius of me, (near Wichita,ks) and can't seem to hardly find complete 8 3/4 at all.
Found some for trucks, or bare housings, etc. but finding a complete one has proven difficult.

Pulling small block 318 out and putting in a big block 400 in my '73 satellite.
Is the k frame interchangeable? Or will I need to swap it also ?
To be clear, will the K frame that was in the 318 car work for bb 400?
