I cut my hood to fit scoop, going to box in bracing to make a clean install. want to know what was used between sheetmetal and bracing before boxing end of cut bracing. the factory used a type of caulking ? not sure if it should be semi soft or hard after 50 plus years mine is hard and brittle.
thank you Dan 64, that was my concern. I have a question about using super stock springs with this set up. The car is a 64 Belvedere, do I have to drill a set of spring mounting holes further back?
yes I cut the welds to the rear deck support. looks like i'll have to cut the radius ware the outer mounts to the inner wheel house. making sure I leave the tabs to line up new outer wheel house.
must be missing something, Ive cut as many spotwelds that I can find. trying to separate outer wheel house from inner wheel house. quarter panel is off. do I have to cut wheel house to separate the two ?
I have never owned a mopar ,allways wanted one but never could afford the one I wanted. finally found the one I wanted and could afford. pretty rough. a 1964 belvedere found me. she needs a lot of work,but they all do.
