No rails from frt back to rear...just floor pans but most cars that were converts were reinforced in the rocker panels. ...don't know if this car is. I figured with upping the engine it would need reinforcement . I'm lucky this car is no rust in the floors or boxes....unbelievable but solid.
I'm just couple hours from UScartool thought I would ride up and see what all they have. It might be a chance for some observation and advice....might learn something.
Have 64 Fury convert wanting to go 440 big block 5 spd....any advice...do's and don'ts??
If HP is around 500 will it need to be braced to keep body from twisting?? Which trans to use...etc...thks for any help..
Thks, felt I probably should that body under power would twist most likely...that stuff to do that is it pretty available? Someone make parts ready made to put on those cars??
Need chrome upper belt molding at rear of convert top ...at the corners both LH and RH...might have to re-chrome if so any body had any luck with a good re-chrome shop??
