You might have to remove & reset the entire wiper arms to find the best position to avoid this.
Loosely attach the arms or use a piece of cardboard attached to the pivots to replicate the ENTIRE sweep range before locking them down.
Holley recommends direct battery connection.
I used a dual post battery & dedicated the side post specifically to my sniper to minimize any electrical issues.
Q: Are you seeing traces of oil on the threads when you remove them? If so better sealing could be your answer.
I had a similar oil pooling condition and it was traced to a crack in the center of the aluminum valley pan. I couldn't see until I removed the intake to look for clues.
I cut up a junk circuit board, cleaned the pins, soldered new wires to the pins, added connectors and applied electrical taped around the exposed circuits.
One note though, the pins whilst attached to the circuit board are not the strongest.. I used a Gorilla glue at the joint.
It looks really nice! I sent mine in to Just Dashes have it restored but the pieces won't be back for a few more weeks.
I am concerned about re-installing the switch panel. The corners of the switch panel scare me the most.
I definitely do not want to cut the fresh vinyl while trying to finesse...
