Hi Frank, I went to talk with Sonny’s in Tempe https://yelp.to/h8nMgFNF7i they had good reviews. Their quote was fair for upholstery work compared to other shops. And I talked with them in person for a while. In the end I decided to do the work myself a few weeks ago. My work came out very good...
I recall seeing a thread somewhere, but can’t find it after a search indicating that a certain Ford rocker panel clip will fit in 1970 GTX or sport satellite rocker molding. Does anybody recall this and if so, what Ford clip was that?
thanks MF
I found my wiper arms. They never had blades on them. They are Anco made in the USA. Were these the originals? Also what type/size of wipers do I need for these? They look like some type of press fit since there are no holes or barbs etc on the end.
Wow it’s hot driving a car like this on a day like this in AZ with no AC! It’s on the list but low priority. The interior is done and it’s time to focus on the drivetrain. Not sure I am physically up for it but then again I need to continue my PT anyhoo….

I looked at a bunch of what I thought were original cars but found a mixed bunch...

Considering the cost of the door panels I decided to make them impervious to water damage. I sprayed the backside with Flex Seal spray. Then after it dried I glued a vapor barrier to the backside side.
Thanks Mark! Yes the seats should look really nice with the orange. I waited over a year for Legendary Auto Interiors out of NY. I think they have one craftsman left doing them serially. But they are beautiful and should be for what they charge.
Getting ready to install the interior. Thought I would isolate the trunk and create a thermal barrier. Note the factory barrier. I used the old worn one to trace the new one out of the compressed fiber board similar to the factory. Hopefully I will be able to the seat in.
The upholstery is going very well. I have everything done except for the driver seat. I will do that when all the door panels are in. Note I updated the above posts to include the passenger bucket seat.
I had made and painted a custom seam cover on the back of the arm rest. The original was to...
