1970 Plymouth Sport Satellite from Junk to......

So I decided to change out my intake manifold because I needed another vacuum source and I didn’t want to drill out my M1 single plane. Also made the decision to help improve drivability. Lastly it gives me a tad more clearance for my Air Grabber set up. It was a bit more involved since I...

    Best Porting Bit for Aluminum?

I have several carbide bits for my 4A 1/4” shank die grinder. One is a very high quality cobalt bit. Neither chew aluminum as they do steel! It looks like some helical designs might be better suited for Aluminum? So what do you guys use to chew aluminum if not these?

1970 Plymouth Sport Satellite from Junk to......

Lots of updates to come. Here is rear interior trunk compartment plate for a lack of a better description. I traced this from the original that was disintegrating. I used 1/4 fiber board instead of cardboard. I might paint it to seal it.

Guys how does Edlebrock measure Intake Manifold height? I am working some clearance issues myself on a SBM 340 and I need to take some measurements and I need to compare to Edlebrock units but know how they actually reference/measure their units.

    Coolant Disposal

Well I just called Jiffy Lube and they said they would take it! This is a great thing. I don’t know if they will charge me but a least someone will take it! We all have a Jiffy Lube somewhere near us!

    Coolant Disposal

Why do municipalities make coolant disposal so difficult? With local shops not taking it, disposal has few if any options.

YES! Polished AL! Wanted Cragars since 1977 in HS but couldn’t afford them or a car to put them on! So now is the time! It was the very first thing I got for the car when I got it. The car was a POS but 5 years later and she’s looking a lot better.

Stupefied door window mylar slider wows

Update. The window mylar replacement concept is causing some binding. I figured out why. Its NOT THE CLIPS its the material along the window. It’s too soft. The window wrap needs to be bind free and thus needs to have a property of being harder. A nylon 1/4 u channel would be ideal. Pvc might...

Thanks yes I saw that post. Looking at it more carefully I see the small vent tube does NOT come into the trunk compartment. I do know I need to check which tube is plumbed where in the tank as its an aftermarket. Thank you!

Fuel tank short J vent tube location in trunk.

Looking to install my vent tubes. I see where the longer tube goes through the trunk as seen by the pic. I just don’t recall where the short tube comes through. Any pictures would help! Thanks!

    yet another good guy alert......

Mine are black. Dimensionally the same within a few thou. Use the 0.125 pin same as the original as seen in the picture. See the crack in the original? Thats where the stress is. It’s an interference fit for the pin. Same depth so they mate properly.
