I've been using LubeLocker gaskets, a little expensive but they are reusable and seem to work great. I used them on a couple differentials and replaced the cheap ones with them on my 47re and 904 transmission.
He also heated it with a Burnsamatic torch to get rid of any leftover contamination, not mention lighting his cigarettes as well. I did it before I sprayed mine, and noticed that there might be something to it.
I think using a brush could eliminate the trouble of masking as well.
I'm looking for the taller disc brake spindle for 73 and later B Body cars.
The part or casting number is 3402638. I'm doing a disc brake conversion on 72 A body and have all the necessary new and used parts but for some reason have 2 left spindles #3402639

Call me crazy, but I have 4 cars with electric chokes, none of which are hooked up. I've never had a problem getting them to start in any weather. Granted I do have to sit there with my foot on the gas until they warm up, but for me the best part of having these cars is getting them to start and...

Go to BAC for new delrin bushings and pivots. I went with them after my new Made in US Moog lower control arm bushings gave way on the road...can you say WTF
I have a 4 speed in my 69 383 RR I made from an auto small block Satellite. It is tons is of fun to drive in the countryside, but it does sometimes get old pretty fast driving around town. As far as economics are concerned it definetly wasn't cheap when I converted it from an automatic.
