I had somewhat of a similar issue with a Shelby Charger that ended up being a bad alternator. Something internal was causing it to overcharge.... Might be worth a try.

Which intrument cluster do you have? The R/T's with the rally cluster do not have that emblem; for whatever reason only the standard cluster cars have it.

Hers a couple from 1981.....

They have RM in the VIN which denotes them as a Road Runner, nothing else would point to the Superbird model.

I picked up a '71 Charger that came with an extra set of rust free fenders; any idea of what they should sell for? Already have an interested party, just not sure what they are worth..... Thanks for any help!
