    Borgeson Update

I've heard some say the old junkyard pumps are more reliable than the newer stuff. KD- pick n pull time. Did you see a pump on that recent junkyard dart?

    Borgeson Update

since installing the Borgeson, what's the longest amount of drive time you've done? Me zipping around town for 20 min blasts didn't do anything to the PS pump with my new Borgeson, but it seems the two runs of 3hr drives in the same day might have.

    Borgeson Update

I emailed Peter Bergman this morning. He replied within 10 minutes and we had a nice back and forth conversation. He's saying my pump has failed and that internal clearances in this remanufactured pump can contribute to this. I've ran this pump for 7000 miles and with the Borgeson box maybe it...

    When Mopar guys get together...

it was 2.5 hrs there and 3 hrs home for me. Still made it home before dark and I was very tired, but it was worth it. Thanks KD and Rich. Great to see you guys. KD - also please post your new Torsion bar boot install method. It required 2 people, but it worked better than anything I've seen...

    Borgeson Update

Did you ever get your Borgeson box and pump sorted? I love the feel of the Borgeson box, until yesterday when it started acting up at low speeds after a 3hr drive. I have new Borgeson box and a not so old Saginaw pump and reservoir installed in 2015 with only 1000 miles on it. Also have PS...

Fuel Pressure Regulator Connection & Mounting Edelbrock AVS2

that's awesome. Is the fuel pressure dead steady or does the needle bounce some? Prior to this a few years ago I had my 1/4" return line with Quickfuel carb and regulator before carb and the pressure needle bounced around a lot (with mechanical pump). Hoping moving the regulator to the other end...

Fuel Pressure Regulator Connection & Mounting Edelbrock AVS2

For example sake, I'll describe how I will do if I'm keeping my Holley style carb that's in there now instead of the AVS2. I've got a fuel log with dual outlet's on the side that connect to the carb and a port on each end of the fuel log (one is currently plugged and one is feeding the fuel...

Fuel Pressure Regulator Connection & Mounting Edelbrock AVS2

I emailed Aeromotive (the company who makes the Fuel Pressure Regulator) and one of the guys there got back to me a week later with some very good info. He said it's recommended with a return style fuel pressure regulator to mount it AFTER the carb, whether with mechanical pump or electric pump...

Have you had torque converter bolts come loose?

what are the symptoms if these bolts start to loosen? Vibration and sound? My engine builder who installed my engine and trans torqued to spec and used red loctite. 7000 mi and a few dozen hard passes and so far so good.

Garage stench after parking car - does non-ethanol help?

my house in San Jose is 1974. The water heater is strapped to the garage wall on a raised platform. Maybe not original, but someone did it at one point.

Anyone install a fuel vapor filter on their Charger?

I live in CA and had the same problem with my Satellite when parked in the garage after a drive. Some of it is carb bowl fuel boiling, but some of it was rear wheel well fuel vent related. I installed this II Much Fuel Vapor filter mounted in the trunk and it works great. Much less smell. $200...

Fuel Pressure Regulator Connection & Mounting Edelbrock AVS2

Thanks, I agree my HP is not high enough to drain the fuel bowls with a single feed, but Edelbrock specifically mentions to limit fuel pressure to 5.5 to 6psi max, which has been confirmed by many other users from what I'm reading on reviews. I might get away with no regulator with the Edelbrock...

    Carb Spacer Tech

while I am benefiting from the spacer being a heat shield, I'm also wanting a performance bump for throttle response, hence the tapered 4 hole and divided spacer inquiry.

any supplier sources you can point me to? I usually buy from Summit and Summit only lists these 2 Edelbrock's.

    Three spoke steering wheel option?

that 3 spoke wood one was also an option for 68-69 from what I recall. It's one of my favorite stock wheels. I wish they offered repops in a 15" diameter.

Carburetor heat soak or vapor lock?

It seems that a 1/4" return should be fine then, which is what I have. If I ever install my regulator again, I'll need to upsize to a 3/8" return.

Carburetor heat soak or vapor lock?

are you using a regulator or no?

Carburetor heat soak or vapor lock?

This is in the Aeromotive 13301 fuel pressure regulator installation instructions. Now, if you're not using a regulator, then I would agree the return line could be smaller, but with the regulator controlling system pressure, it's supposed to be return line is equal to or larger than the supply...

    Carb Spacer Tech

I currently run an open 1/2" phenolic carb spacer with my dual plane Edelbrock Performer RPM intake. I'd like to try a tapered 4 hole spacer and a divided spacer to compare performance at part throttle as well as mid and top end. For the divided spacers, the only ones I'm seeing on Summit...
