AC/heater box should have a drain tube on the firewall side with a tube connected and going through the firewall to the outside of the car. You can find it by feeling along the firewall side of the heater box. You can't see it unless you're built different than me. Also the drain tube could be...

Drain tube broken or not connected. Drain pan defective or leaking.

If the coolant was low, you could have a leaking heater core. Another suggestion is that the drain tube to the outside of the vehicle is disconnected.
