Anyone never made a bad decision?

I’ve made a lot of bad decisions too that I’d like to forget, but I have some people in my life that remind me of them all the time. Family of course. But I look at it like hey, given the circumstances at that time and what I knew then, I feel I made the best decision at the time. Even if it was...

Things you messed with on your buddies' car

We chained and locked a set of truck nuts on the back of the vice president of Human Resources suv. We laughed so hard watching him trying desperately to pull them off when he left work that night. He was a big guy and of course we were safely up on the sixth floor watching from a window. The...

Things you messed with on your buddies' car

We actually moved a guys car at work using those wheel jacks on wheels from harbor freight. You just jack up each wheel and then push the car. This guy deserved it. He was always taking up two spots so nobody could park next to him. And it was a Chevy Cruz. He went nuts thinking someone stole...

    What's your favorite 50-year-old car?

My Dad bought a brand new 4 door Monaco Brougham that was loaded. I loved the wheels, hideaway headlights and especially the rim blow steering wheel. You rarely ever see these cars anymore, but boy were they sharp!

What is the best way to quit your job? Any advice?

Give two weeks notice if you currently receive two weeks vacation. If you don’t get two weeks vacation, one week is sufficient. And hey, you don’t have to have a job lined up. It would be nice, but you will find another job. Do what you think is best in your heart. I think You already know the...

Found this in dash - what is it?

It is the fader. Have one on my 70 charger. There should be a hole in the bottom lip of the dash that it pushes down through and then there’s a nut that goes over it to hold it in place. You just reach down under the dash lip to the right of the steering wheel and adjust.

Two stroke vs four - which do you prefer

I was always a 2 stroke man. All my dirt bikes were 2 stroke and I loved the power bands. Climbing hills in a power band was an adrenaline rush. As long as the hill wasn’t longer and steeper than the band. I own 2 stroke chain saws, leaf blowers, lawn mowers and on and on. I always loved the...

What’s the best wax you guys are using?

I’ve always used Mothers carnauba cleaner wax. I’ve tried meguiars, griots, ceramic and other spray on waxes. I’ve also tried turtle wax and I think the Mothers did the best job at removing all dirt, sap, grime down to the paint including removing a lot of the swirls. I take my time rubbing it...
