Hi all, I'm pretty new to the whole restoring a car process was wondering if in the event of my headlight motors not working what kind of tools will I need to figure out what and where the problem is? Such as a voltmeter or whatever else I might need.

Newbie question, but if you're having problems with the headlights and or the headlight motors are there any specific tools to use to find the cause of the problem? Like one of those probes that you use to see how many amps you're getting from a circuit?
