the bearing support bracket is dowel pined to the block to locate it. the bearing seizes into the bracket. you must unbolt it from the block and remove the entire axle from the trans to get the bracket off.

Ive had the same center force behind 2 different engines for years. It takes lots of abuse and still works great. It is the duel friction type. Just remove the factory over center spring under the dash.
I know and holley is owned by someone else. Im old , there's fuel injection and Holley carbs. theres a few orther people who make carbs too but nobody cares about them....:rolleyes:
