63 Max wedge 3447 original jet sizes

I ran the 3447's for awhile but went to the Edelbrock replacement. Never run those on the dyno but will with the new motor. Having my headers fixed for O2 sensors on the dyno this time. Always appreciate your help John.

63 Max wedge 3447 original jet sizes

Anyone know the original primary and secondary jet sizes and metering rod number on the 3447's. Want to help someone out to put them on a 63 Max Wedge street car. At least a good starting point. Thanks for any help.

    2 step with footbrake automatic

I have a Turbo Action shifter. I went to thr hardware store and got a larger diameter plastic roller that I replaced the smaller one on the shifter. Made a bracket for a Biondo switch. Wired it so my 2 step only works in first gear. My switch is on the far left of the pedal. Told my son to be...

    Another 16v question

Getting ready to get this thing started. You guys running 16v systems do you increase the gap on the plugs with a 16v system. I have a MSD 7AL-2. I know to check the timing to see if that has changed and check fuel pressure with the fuel pump using 16v. I thought that someone mentioned they had...

Questions on a new 16v system

I did it to have easier starting. My 12v system was an issue, so instead of changing the 12 alternator with something stronger I went with 16v system. More power for the fuel pump (although will change my fuel regulator now), and supposedly more for the MSD. People say I best check the timing...

Questions on a new 16v system

Thanks for the info. A little work but I think I will put the water pump on 12v just to be safe. Interested to hear you have a regulator on the fuel return as well, if I am reading that right. I will watch the fuel pressure for sure. Don't want to flood this thing.

Questions on a new 16v system

I installed a 16v alternator and 16v battery, located in the back. Wondering if I should put some things on 12v. I have an MSD 7AL-2, electric fuel pump, water pump (Mexiere), and fan. Some say water pump on 16v actually pumps too hard. MSD should be fine from what I heard. Starters seem to be...

    413 dual quad CFM question...

The 413's in 62 I think ran 2-3447's on the crossram intake. They are 600cfm like the 1405's. They used the 3447's in 63 with the 426 wedge on a crossram.

    What's it Worth Cheetah shifter

Cheetah shifter from my 727. Reverse pattern. Works fine, no issues. Used this in the early 90's then stored the car until now. Just curious what it may be worth to someone. Thanks. SOLD

FOR SALE 63 Plymouth front bench seat

Bench seat from my 63 Plymouth Savoy. Black vinyl done 2 years ago. Very little use as it took a long time to finish the car. Reason for selling is that my rollbar doesn't allow me to move the seat back far enough to be comfortable using the brake pedal. Little room between the seat and...

    led bulbs in the dash

Here is an led bulb story. We had an older Pontiac Firebird in the shop for no cruise control. The tech kept checking electronic stuff on the car. Customer agrees to replace the ECM, no change. I am not sure what they all replaced on the car, but the end result was the previous owner put in led...

    63 Plymouth stock eliminator project

Just something you may want to do. I did this on my 63. Most mopar guys I know do it. Install a brake pedal stop so the pedal can only come back as far as needed. Some racers have had the rod drop out of the master cylinder because under hard acceleration the pedal on some will come back alowing...
