    I don't think you need to spend the money on a indy block for what your intending to build. You can't run that block as is. Mine required complete disassembly, decking, align hone, cleaning,final hone,clean. etc.

    One Wire Alternator

    I run a single wire East Coast on mine. Just ran the lead to the starter lug. Still will throw the charger on it during down time,but having almost 15v for the electrical is better than just battery voltage.
