Missing some paint. Has a golf ball size hole by the brake pedal. Pretty solid floors. Gave it a shot of brake cleaner. Fired right up. Now for fresh gas tomorrow maybe. Oh. And it probably is a 904. I should have said 318/auto as I’ve looked under but only at the body.
You guys wouldn’t believe how much I gave for it. Try a set of spindles and rotors from a 73 charger that’s been long parted out past its ny rusted prime.
I might fix that quarter panel but otherwise I think it’ll make an awesome cruiser. Maybe just clean it and put some of that rub on clear I see all the young kids using these days to protect what’s left. Original paint is only original one time. Never again.
Took my challenger to the Oklahoma all mopar show a few years back. 180 miles one way. It was hot. Black car. No ac. Had a bit of over temperature issues after a couple hours but had a great time. I’d do it again but not sure I’d go cross country without my ac.
Not running but complete. He said he drove it to where it was setting. The only new car his dad ever bought. Set for around a decade. I’m betting won’t take much to get it rolling.
As requested a few more pictures. I did kinda rebuild the carb and it’s loads better now. If anyone knows how to adjust the main jet on an old carter ball and ball I’d appreciate the advice. It’s really nice truck. I don’t think it’s original paint but an old paint job. It belonged to a school...
Piced this up last Tuesday. Drove it home 23 miles. Just put new tires on it today. Needs a carb kit and a tune up but pretty solid. 51 B3B with a flathead and 3 on the tree
Man you bring back memories. I use to take the a/c off everything. Extra weight. In the way. Less is more. Now I’m old and if it didn’t have a/c it gets converted. Anything you take off just save. One day you might want it back on there.
A guy I went to school with had a 60s Plymouth. Not sure what year. It was ugly?? To most of us at the time anyway. We called it birth control cause no girls was getting in that thing. Lol.
Man I’m not up on led bulbs but I sent an old girlfriend in for some blinker fluid back in high school. She was really ditsy and really pissed when she came out from the parts store. To this day when I see her in passing she won’t speak to me
Man that turned out way better then I thought when I clicked on this thread. Congratulations to him!!! I guess I was thinking of the dumb stuff I did at parties years back. My parents weren’t there.
