If you’re a newbie like me and installed your windshield before the trim brackets, here’s the solution I came
up with. I flattened the tabs, drilled holes in them and then used wellnuts and screws to attach them. Seem really sturdy.
Wellnuts size was 6/32 x 1/2in
3/4in screws
I use black diamond fine in my cabinet. Use a water separator at the compressor side. About 80psi.
Works great on hard and soft metals.
For body panels I use extra fine crushed glass and do three quick passes.

Here’s what I did. I did a rotisserie sandblast with medium crushed glass, fixed all the rusted spots, sprayed it with rust encapsulator, skim coat of body filler where needed, then a coat of epoxy primer. I used truck bed liner for the interior...
I know a guy near Spokane Washington that will sand, block, and paint Inside and out for under 5k. I had him cut and buff, dent removal and under coat, it was 6k. Car is a 67 GTX tribute. Great driver quality. If you’re in that area message me and I’ll give you contact info and pics.
