    Operation: Chocolate Thunder

Your driving experience, suggests to me that the lower control arm bushings might be the culprit. You should change them regardless while you are overhauling. Ragnar in Iceland

    Hellcat rollover (video)

Hi folks, For decades, Icelanders have competed in a unique off road competition. 4x4 heavily modified vehicles compete by challenging steep, almost vertical hills and get points for staying within the track marked as well as how fast they finish the runs. There might be like 6-8 different...

Where do we stand with Moparts?

I have been buying auto parts from the U.S. since 1980 (yeah, before the internet), bought 250+ parts from the U.S. via Ebay (two vehicles among that) as well as countless number of business transactions directly from private companies in the auto aftermarket business, so I think I can qualify...

    Father/Son 1966 charger 383 4spd build thread

It is very precious to have a father & son project these days. My sons were too old when they started having interest in my Mopars; wish they had gotten it earlier. I have one thought; in one of your earlier posts you said that you were going to have the roofline pinstripe in black. Just want...

Observations made in the course of everyday life.

This good thread reminds me of an SNL sketch from many years ago. It was "Deep thoughts by Jack Handey." They even published a book on it. Two of the deep thoughts he had was: "Better not take a dog on the Space Shuttle because if he sticks his head out when you are coming home, his face...

Jon Kaase´s discussion about how rust inside headers can damage engines

We all know John is mainly known for his Ford engine combos, yet this video is not about Fords. For example, around 30 minutes in this video he talks about how rust in headers can creep into the engine and scratch the engine bores. A bit later he credits Martin (as in Sox & Martin) for a tip...

Thanks for kind and uplifting words Moparians! My class is strictly for true radial tires (i.e. none soft compound). On these BFG tires I have done 11.75 in the quarter-mile and 7.63 on 1/8th. The engine is a very mild 451 stroker with a 4.10:1 SG, 10.69:1 CR, a .582" and255 deg cam and a...
