Put an auto city classic 26” in my 383 67 charger this summer. It works amazing. Went straight in no issues. I have the mechanical fan and no shroud and it stays cool for as long as I want to drive it. Granted, it replaced the original, but it runs like a completely different car now.

Mine’s a daily driver when there’s no salt on the ground. Constantly getting pelted by crap so I did it the cheap easy repeatable way haha. just took a little brush and a little can of matte black paint and spent 30 minutes painting in between each rib. Looks great unless you put your forehead...

Good ground on the regulator? Generally heat/smoke is resistance no? I’d run a ground line directly to it from the battery and see what happens. …but then again I come here a lot a with questions because I don’t know what I’m doing . So you might not want to listen to me

Yeah I figure most people have their preferences and there’s more than one way to do it. Just want to make sure I don’t do anything stupid. Or have to do any kind of crazy mods to the chassis to make things work.
