Ok so I got some closer pictures of the wheel. If there’s supposed to be numbers on it I can’t see them but it’s pretty well covered in rust. Looks like it would probably clean up decently. Looks like it was mounted at some point, but again I don’t know this history of this thing. Could be a pos...
This spare was in the car when I bought it. I have no idea if it’s original, if that’s even a thing, or if it’s worth keeping. Just going to pitch it if not. Thanks for any input!
I bought one from Vans Auto LLC through eBay last winter and it went right in and has been working fine. Just searched for it again and they still have it, $7
Ok, what are the rubber things in the picture? Those are what I’m talking about. Those are part of the other parts you mentioned? Can I just buy the rubber or I have to buy the whole thing? Sorry, this is my first venture into suspension things
67 charger
Can someone tell me what to search for/buy if I need to replace the bushings on the end of the center link/drag link (whatever the correct name is). I have to drop it to put a new gasket on my oil pan. I’ve searched and found things that look right but nothing that specifically says...
Yeah real close, I go to Pittsburgh all the time! Yep this is my first classic car so it’s what I’m learning everything on.
It’s an MSD
Ok I’ll buy a light and learn how to do it. Even if I don’t end up messing with anything it’s good stuff to know.
Thanks for the responses! It sounded logical that it could be done but the last few posts confirm my suspicions and why I shouldn’t touch it haha. I have a 383 that has been altered- but I have no idea what exactly is in it (bought it that way).
It’s running fine right now but I was installing...
Keep in mind, I have no experience with these things..and may be slightly retarded..
But if you start the car, and very slightly turn the distributor, can you hear if it runs better or worse?
Ok thanks! I’ll give it a shot
I have the red can at home- crc electronics cleaner. Will that do the same or is what you sent more specifically for the problem?
Dash lights flicker when turning/dimming the rheostat normal speed. If I go really slow it doesn’t… other than that everything works fine and glows nice.
Is this normal or indicative of an issue with the headlight switch. Figured I’d check before I needlessly replace the headlight switch...
Can someone tell me if this is for a 67 charger? It was with my car (not installed) and I was trying to sell it but then I saw another thread that confused me a little. Specifically because of the white wire. Want to be certain of what it is. Thanks!
