I bought those same ball joints and had no issues at all. The only thing that might be wrong is they could be lower ball joint, which are threaded into lower control arm. They could of packaged them wrong as upper part #

I didn't go threw the stealer ship, I got the leafs from a local company that dealt with all springs from cars to transport trucks, and the price was cheap.
cheapest and best thing to do is to re arch your springs and add a leaf. Best part is you don't need much for tools,either a anvil and a good sledge hammer or even a hydraulic press. I haven't checked, but I am sure there must be YouTube video on that, better than explaining. I did it myself...
Rock Auto has some of the best shipping program, I also live in Canada and on average it takes 3 days during the work days. They do a better job of getting you the part compared to alot of auto supply stores.
Fix it yourself, and have fun doing it , even if you have to buy a few tools to get it done. The majority of people on this site do most of there own repairs, that's how having classic Detroit iron affordable.
