OK, so based on my Google image search all 1963 Dodge b-body cars (all trim levels) are sedans (2 door & 4 door included)?
With that said, starting in 1964 you could get a sedan or a hardtop (2 door or 4 door)? Is it based on trim level (330 vs. 440 vs. Polara)? Would the engine size define...
My buddy & I have had questions about the C pillars on Dodge (and Plymouth) B-body cars for years. I'm a little more versed in A-body cars.
I happened to see the attached picture on the internet. I know both cars are '64 Dodge B-body cars. Can somebody explain, definitively, why there are 2...
Sorry, I've been away for a bit.
Sadly, Pertronix is the only information he has on the ignition system. He bought the car with the conversion done by the previous owner.
He sent a couple of pictures that may help
My buddy has the above mentioned car. He needs a ballast resistor, but doesn't know what ohm value he needs. The previous owner added Pertronix to it. The Pertronix website doesn't mention the ohm value. Does anyone know what he needs?
I spotted this car at a local cruise in/show. Originally a /6, three on the tree, rubber floor mat car. I've never seen a 3-door car before. The current owner said it may have been designed/used as a taxi cab, but has no documentation as to it's origin. Has anyone seen cars like this? Factory...
My '71 Dart GT is named "Golden Oldie". Very creative, I know...
This picture was taken Saturday at our club's annual CarBQ. Yup, we drive them in the rain too.
There was a gentleman (Bruce) on FABO.com who was "the expert" on '70-'71 Dart GT cars. He created a registry (I believe my car is #36 on Bruce's registry) and had all kinds of information about the cars. Unfortunately, Bruce passed away a few years ago. Sadly his registry also disappeared...
I too own an A65 '71 Dart GT.
I have owned my '71 Dart GT since August 18th of 2003. Factory equipment on my car includes 318, 2-bbl, A904 auto (console shifter with bucket seats), A/C, PS (Federal), Rimblow steering wheel, manual drums (front & rear), 3.23:1 sure-grip 8 3/4" rear-end, it wears...
I've got 31+ years in with Chrysler (so far). The first 19 years were at JTE (Jeep/Truck Engineering) then, in 2008, I moved to CTC (Chrysler Tech Center). So, my wife and I drive Chrysler products (2013 Dodge Journey for me and a 2019 Jeep Cherokee for my wife).
Greg (sporting our club's t-shirt in the interview):
brought the car out to the 2019 Clinton Township Gratiot Cruise, where I snapped a few pictures of it.
I think your act of pulling over, stopping and giving the funeral procession the right of way is very respectful (aka "a moment of silence"). Hopefully the grieving family saw your kind gesture and your acknowledgement of your fellow man.
We all need to learn to respect each other again...
We (Twisted Axle Car Club (check us out on Facebook)) met Greg during the 2019 Clinton Township (MI) Gratiot Cruise. Great guy & story. Attached are a few pictures I took of his car (Greg is wearing the red cap):
Not a B-Body, but this is my '71 Dart GT GY8 (added the V21 style gloss black hood, scoops & cowl treatment in 2018). Non-HIP cars are growing on me too!
